The Tumbles Table
The Rough Rock Table
I created the Rough Rock Table to bring attention to the original, untouched form of Crystals and Minerals. Rough Crystals, sometimes called Raw, are the center of my work as a Lapidarist.
This display has created a huge following of artisans and jewelers .
There are very few Rock Shops that carry Rough Crystals to the extent that Easthampton Crystal and Mineral does.
Who’s that girl ?
Electric Sue
it’s
Electric Sue is a gorgeous, gorgeous girl, ten years in the making, and an exciting new part of my life’s work.
About 10 years ago, I started collecting jewelry....gorgeous clip-on & screw-back earrings, posts, dangle earrings, singles mostly...as well as colorful beaded necklaces and brooches. Most are vintage from as far back as the 1940s. The 80's & 90's produced some outrageous pieces that were perfect!
The boxed mannequin arrived 5 years ago. She has been patiently waiting since then.
When I finally started her, it took about 6 weeks of nights and weekends, gluing each piece one at a time.
The electric blue hair was perfect for her and her name:
Electric Sue.
Electric Sue is now a permanent member of the Easthampton Crystal & Mineral family. Standing tall and proud in the shop’s window, she’s also known around town as “The Button Lady” and has become a fast favorite over on facebook.
